Come join me on a Journey of Photography and Visual Art. Along the way, we will be rewarded with a renewed sense of place, people and things. My hope is we will learn and grow as artists, individuals and community.
I am passionate about digital image creation and all things photography and it is a pastime I enjoy. When I leave my home, I usually take a camera with me. My image selections are eclectic as I consider myself an opportunist. I especially enjoy Avian Photography but am not limited to it.
August Sander wrote in 1951; "I cannot show [my work] in a single photo, nor in two or three... Photography is like a mosaic that becomes synthesis only when it is presented en masse."
"Core Practices" as I pursue my creative goals through the art of Photography.
1) No animals are harmed or endangered in the creation of any of my pictures,
2) I do not take pictures of caged, captive, tethered Amphibians, Birds, Fish, Invertebrates, Mammals or Reptiles.
3) Total respect for the environment and the natural world we inhabit.
